Good Neighborhood News: Because a couple of issues were quietly simmering between a few good neighbors recently, I created a Neighborhood Declaration, then hosted a friendly neighborhood party inviting everyone. All the neighbors read, amicably discussed, then enthusiastically endorsed the positive Proclamation.

Seeing the remarkable results, soon other neighborhood leaders requested a copy of the Neighborhood Declaration, which you can modify as you like.

This is the humble beginning of Neighborhoods For Peace, which, who knows?, may one day grown into a movement. We envision Neighborhoods for Peace as a very grass roots, apolitical, extremely localized gentle way that neighbors can be reminded how to be good neighbors in an inspiring way, so that every friendy one of us may enjoy the fruits of friendships blossoming all around us.

Feel free to read and copy our Neighborhood Declaration. Feel free to modify it according to your neighborhood’s preferences. Please let us know your results.

For the continuously flowing river of our remarkable guests, we celebrate you! Happy Thanksgiving to you from our feast of friends!

Kindred spirits, we treasure you!

For cherished friends to come,
We welcome you!

Here’s To You From Our Beloved Illuminate Film Festival
and Green Living friends!

We Give thanks for family reunions too with Musical Mom and Superheroic Sister!

The recent Light Family reunion was a great time for all.
Here’s to Christopher, Ari, Ember, Micah and Wendy!

Light Family swim-hiking between pristine pools.

With daughter-in-love and grandson, Ember, super cute!

This feral troglodyte was sighted singing outside of one of our many neighborhood caves.

We invite you to visit us at a few of Arizona’s winter hot spots: Magic Canyon, one of our secret winter homes, features a variety of very traditional 1 million year old accommodations – comfy caves! – above a wild river bank lined with thousands of very lucky four-leaf clovers.

Situated aside clear flowing waters gushing with warm springs

We spotted a local lizard doing pushups in isolated,
long-forgotten Magic Canyon

Do you see the tiny magic elf Johnny (bottom left) with his arms stretched up toward the cliff tops?

Where a sitting Buddha has been meditating for so long he has turned to stone?

Why drive 30 hours to the southern tip of Baja California?

Or is it Or is it Arizonia?

Yes, we discovered Baja Arizonia!

Otherwise known as Saguaro Lake (Google it), this majestic scene is the doorway to what may be Arizona’s most vast, warm and resplendently rugged Apache wilderness within a national forest in hemmed by four spacious pristine mountain-spring lakes with nearly 1000 miles of unpeopled mountainous shoreline and hundreds of
private warm winter camping coves.

President Theodore Roosevelt said of the only road that enters it,
“The Apache Trail (the winding scenic dirt road) combines the grandeur of the Alps,
the glory of the Rockies, the magnificence of the Grand Canyon,
and then adds an indefinable something that none of the others have.
To me, it is most awe-inspiring and most sublimely beautiful.”

Remarkably ancient yet enticing roadside cavern accommodation

Winding between saguaro studded canyons

Woven amidst a series of stunning lakes

Beneath this snowclad cliff, we discovered

a literate troglodyte found in our Granite Dells neighborhood cave

We adopted Mr. Easy, our neighbor’s horse

From the Native Sculpture Garden today in Scottsdale,
Peace Be With You, Treasured Friend! Blessings on your way.

Come find us this winter in unpeopled places where the wild things are thriving!

Heaven on Earth is almost full. A wonderful community of cultural creatives is sweetly glowing and growing.

Love!
